DH Vancouver Staff Feb 24, 2016 11:31 am

Police are asking for the public’s assistance after a Port Coquitlam woman was assaulted in front of her home.

The attack took place during the afternoon of February 11. The victim was approaching her front door when an unknown male shoved her to the ground and immediately fled on foot.

The homeowner sustained minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was described to police as a six foot tall caucasian male, wearing a blue baseball hat and jeans.50556_thumbnail“The description alone is very generic,” said Constable Jamie Phillipson. “However, the sketch of the suspect is extremely detailed and may be enough to obtain a positive identification.”

If you recognize this person or have any information that may further the investigation, please contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote police file number 2016-4492.
