Win two VIP tickets to Hawkers Market next month (CONTEST)

One of Vancouver’s favourite local markets is returning after a long hiatus next month.

Hawkers Market will be back in action soon with an event taking place at Rocky Mountaineer Station (1755 Cottrell Street) on November 17.

Attendees should be prepared for the beloved Hawker-style market they are familiar with, and then some.

One of the most exciting things going down during the November market is a talk called Breaking Bread.

Chef Francisco Migoya of Seattle’s Modernist Cuisine will take the stage to kick off the evening at Hawkers and chat about the future of food, bread, and why bread’s future is much more fascinating than its past.

Chef Francisco is the co-author of Modernist Bread, the largest volume book ever written on bread.

The interactive talk includes an audience Q&A, a presentation, and a bread bar for guests with samples of breads and flours. This highlight kicks off at 5 pm so be sure to come early (around 4 pm) and get a good spot. Plus you’ll get to enter for your chance to win a copy of Modernist Bread as a door prize valued at $600.
