What to expect at Hawker's Market in Vancouver next month

Hawkers Market will be back in action soon with an event taking place at Rocky Mountaineer Station (1755 Cottrell Street) on November 17.

Attendees should be prepared for the beloved Hawker-style market they are familiar with, and then some.

Described as the  “ultimate local food and indie music festival,” the market will feature over 50 Hawker food experiences including dishes from award-winning chefs like Alex Chen (Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar) and Eva Chin (Royal Dinette).

For music, market attendees can listen to the stellar sounds of Peanut Butter Wolf (founder and head of Stones Throw Records) and J Rocc (one of the original turntablists who founded the Beat Junkies in 92).

These two will be returning to Vancouver to soundtrack the festival along with special guest label-mates to be announced soon.
