Are you fed up with all the back and forth emailing and phone calls with recruitment companies and employers?
Well, now you can meet them the old-fashioned way instead. On Thursday evening, February 22, HackerX is hosting a speed dating format event for developers and employers at Visier on Beatty Street.
If you’re a developer attending the event, you’ll have five minutes apiece with each employer to wow them with your qualifications. And if you’re an employer, you’ll have the same amount of time as a unique opportunity to showcase your company’s brand technologies and to let the developer community know that you’re hiring.
All applicants are required to submit their LinkedIn profiles and Github upon signing up and after the event, you’ll receive a list of at least 90 registrations so you can scout or reach out.
In excess of 90 developers usually sign up for each event and you’ll have all attendee information ahead of time so you’ll know who to look out for. HackerX facilitates the event and does not charge any referral fees when someone is hired.
HackerX started in 2012 with invite-only, face-to-face recruiting events that connect tech talent with some of the world’s most innovative companies. And now they run events in over 120 cities around the world and have worked with more than 3,000 tech companies.
