The extremely popular Y2Play Pass for Grouse Mountain is back and is already 60 per cent sold out on its promotion. The pass allows everyone – from students to families – to ski or ride the rest of this season and all of next, along with plenty of freebies and great discounts.

The Y2Play Student pass is targeted for the post-secondary student burnt out by high tuition and high rent costs but still wants access to everything living in an expensive city like Vancouver has to offer. The pass, which costs $279, includes perks like pre-loaded food and beverage credits, an extra lift pass to bring a friend, free rentals for snowshoes, skates and skis/snowboards and access to weekly Park Jams with an experienced park crew. In addition to this, the pass also gives the holder access to discounts on food and beverage (10 per cent) and retail purchases (20 per cent) all season long.

The pass essentially pays for itself after only five visits to the mountain.

“Y2Play provides the best value on a season snowpass and is the perfect option for families, students and winter enthusiasts looking to ski or ride the rest of this season and all of next,” said Jacqueline Blackwell, Manager of Public Relations at Grouse Mountain. “We’re continuing to have great spring conditions on the slopes, so now is the time to take advantage of this great opportunity while it’s still available.”

The passes are also looking to support families who want to spend quality time together but also prioritize the health and fitness of parents and children alike. For families, the Y2Play passes are available in a variety of options including $29 for tots (4-years-old and under), $64 for a child (5-12), $449 for a parent pass to share between two parents of a child under 6 and $879 for a family pass for two adults and up to two children under the age of 12.
