From contributing to Eminem’s Grammy-winning album “Recovery”, to working with such rap mainstays as Dr.Dre, 50 Cent, Drake, and Schoolboy Q; Chin Injeti is helping establish Vancouver as an international hub for music production and talent creation. From his start in Toronto in the early 90’s with the rap group Bass is Base, Chin has been a mainstay in the Canadian hip-hop music scene for over two decades. He has made it his goal to raise the Canadian music scene to great heights by producing and writing for young talent.

In his interview with Hyphy.TV, Chin discusses the background to his new album. He also gives advice to upcoming musicians on what it takes to succeed, and voices his opinion on what needs to happen for Vancouver’s hip-hop scene to finally take off.
