It’s time to grab your flapper dresses, don your two-toned shoes, and get ready to dance the Charleston in the stunning surroundings of Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.
As part of a series of events to celebrate Culture Days, a three day-long pan-Canadian movement to promote engagement in the arts, Gatsby’s Night Out will bring the roaring twenties to the heart of Vancouver for a fun and free night out.
This one-off evening will begin with a guided tour of the historical venue, followed by live music by Victoria and The Secrets and the Myrtle Family Band. Revellers will also have a chance to hit the dance floor to learn the lindy hop, strike a pose in a specially arranged photo booth, interact with an interactive media art piece by Peter Forde, and enjoy Matt Johnson’s magical tricks. Food and drink will also be available.
Tickets are free and available on a first come, first served basis. however you’d better hurry, as there are only 200 available.
