All men must die on Game of Thrones, but HBO’s Emmy and Golden Globe-winning epic fantasy series continues to thrive on HBO Canada, breaking viewership records with more than 1.6 million viewers for the Season 5 finale on Sunday, June 14. Making it the most-watched Canadian Pay broadcast ever.

Fans of the show will no doubt agree that it was one of the better seasons. The last few episodes were fantastic.

The hit series ended its fifth season as the most-watched series in Canadian Pay TV history, consistently winning its timeslot with an average audience of 1.4 million viewers, an increase of 11% over Season 4.

All five seasons of Game of Thrones are now available for streaming online and on-demand before the sixth season debuts next year.
