A full moon party is in the works again this year, despite last years controversies.

Full moon parties are popular among tourists in Thailand and are known for getting wild and lasting all night.

The party planned for last summer was blocked by the RCMP after over 7,000 people said they were attending via the Facebook event page. It was going to be hosted by a Swedish DJ who goes by the name DJ Bjorn.

The event page for this years party already has 13,000 people who plan on going. It is not known who is hosting it, but it is going to be located in English Bay, despite the heavy residential population.

The event page says to expect something different this year.
