FTBL Podcast: Will Canada keep the World Cup dream alive?

Jorge Mendoza Aug 31, 2016 3:23 am

This week we concentrate on Canada’s senior men’s and women’s national teams.

In Part 1 (1′-33′) we welcome Daniel Squizzato back to the show to break down the Canadian Women’s National Team’s bronze medal in Rio and the road ahead for John Herdman and his team. We follow it up with a look ahead to two crucial matches for Benito Floro and the Canadian Men’s National Team as they continue their journey towards Russia 2018.

In Part 2 (34-59′) we talk about Jay Janower from Global TV and his interesting interview with the Whitecaps’ Pedro Morales. We speculate on what Morales’ future might be in Vancouver. We then talk about the nil-all draw against the LA Galaxy last weekend, and close out the show with the mailbag.
