Frozen Beer, the draught that is immensely popular in Japan, has arrived in Vancouver, just in time for the summer patio season.

Kirin Ichiban Frozen Beer offers an innovative draft beer experience made possible by KIRIN’s original technology. Kirin Ichiban’s Beer foam frozen into -5ºC which creates a unique texture and keeps the beer cold for 30 minutes. The foam on top resemblances that of a an ice cream cone or sundae.

Craft beer drinkers may not be so fond of such a product but we have a feeling that this will be a huge summer time hit in the city. If popular, look for the many other popular japanese eateries follow suit.

Kirin Ichiban Frozen Beer, is now available at Guu Garden in downtown Vancouver and Guu in Richmond. Quantities may be limited.
