Free WiFi, multiple lures provided at Vancouver Art Gallery poké stop this afternoon

Pokémon GO players, rejoice: a meet-up that’s happening this afternoon promises free WiFi and phone charging at a poké stop at the Art Gallery.

The first 25 people at the Best Buy Poké Party will get free portable mobile phone chargers to feed their gaming addiction, and if you’re new to Pokémon GO, Geek Squad agents will be onsite to help with tutorials.

Best Buy says players can expect a number of “lures” at the party too.

If you’re going, Best Buy encourages players to post photos to social media with the hashtag #BestBuyPokéParty for a chance to win a Pokémon GO Plus gaming accessory – essentially a watch that vibrates and flashes when Pokémon are nearby.

Can’t make it to the meet-up today? Not to worry. We’ve compiled a list of 154 Pokémon GO spots to check out in Vancouver – sadly, there’s likely not going to be free WiFi at any of these places.
