If your plans are to keep it local this Canada Day, there might be no better way to rock the nation’s 150th than with YVR Food Fest‘s Canada Day Cookout.
Taking place in Olympic Village, Arrival Agency’s Canada Day Cookout is part of this year’s expanded YVR Food Fest programming, and will offer Vancouver a great gathering place to celebrate Canada 150 on July 1.
In addition to a great lineup of talented live musical acts, the event also rocks an incredible food and drink line up, which will showcase the perfect pairings of BBQ staples with local craft beer and beverages.
Here’s the list of the 22 food and drink vendors who are confirmed as of now to take part, with more to be revealed at the event:
Look for legit Austin-style BBQ with ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken courtesy of Guerrila Q. In addition, there’ll be a slider competition featuring some of the city’s favourite food trucks and restaurants.

Tickets are available for the Canada Day Cookout online, and are priced at $10 to 59 (and include food and beverage tokens).
