Soar into the North Pole with FlyOver Canada this Christmas

Dec 20 2016, 6:28 am

There aren’t many places that will take you across Canada within 10 minutes.

And there are still fewer that will give you an additional Christmas pre-show plus a view of Santa’s workshop at the North Pole.

But FlyOver Canada is doing all of that with their annual Christmas at FlyOver Canada.

The show takes FlyOver Canada’s spectacular trip across Canada and adds a couple of holiday elements, like helping Santa search for his missing elves and getting an extra 90-second animated view of the North Pole.

The whole show takes about 20 minutes, but you’ll only be strapped into the flying contraption for nearly 10 of them.

It really feels like you’re flying across Canada. The wind runs through your hair, a light mist brushes your cheeks, and if you look down, your feet are overhanging nothing but Canadian scenery rushing past.

This experience is more than just a show though – in addition to the Christmas pre-show, there’s also an outdoor deck that features holiday performances, Christmas lights, and seasonal snacks.

Christmas at FlyOver Canada is on until January 2 – with a shortened day on Christmas Eve and no shows on Christmas. Tickets cost $21.95 for adults, but for an extra two dollars you can get FastLane tickets, which means you don’t have to wait in line outside.

All guests must be at least 102 centimeters tall (that’s 40 inches) to participate, and children under 12 have to be accompanied by someone at least two years older than them.
