Indie-rock queen Florence Welch shares her love for this Vancouver bookstore

When she’s not rocking out on stage, it looks like Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine) loves a good bookstore and she found a local gem in Vancouver.

Welch, who was in town this weekend performing at Skookum Festival in Stanley Park, took some time to explore the city and came across The Paper Hound Bookshop on West Pender Street.

It appears Welch is a fan because she shared a picture of herself in front of the shop on Instagram and Twitter with the caption “Vancouver gives good book.”

After her amazing set at Skookum fest, Vancouver’s love for Welch is definitely mutual.

She isn’t the first celeb to give Vancouver’s local bookshops a shout out. Back in June, famed Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro, proclaimed his love for MacLeod’s Books, which also happens to be located on West Pender.
