You can fly from Vancouver to Edmonton for $174 roundtrip
If you’ve been looking for a good chance to check out Alberta’s capital city, now might be the time to do so.
According to YVR Deals, WestJet is offering roundtrip flights to Edmonton for $174.
On its website, YVR Deals said the price drop is in response to “the recent Flair Airlines (formerly New Leaf) expansion into the major Canadian airports.”
It also notes that this price actually undercuts Flair’s current flight prices for the route by about 25%.
However, if you do decide to take WestJet up on this offer, it might be a good idea to bring a warm coat.
The offer is only valid for flights in late November and early December of this year, then anytime in January and the first half of February next year.
The booking process for these flights is pretty straightforward.
- Google Flights search: Vancouver to Edmonton
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and look for cheap date combinations
- Select your flights and click through from Google Flights to the WestJet website.
True, it’s not quite a winter escape to Vegas, but hey, they have a really big mall and a massive waterpark. And who doesn’t love water slides?
