USA Today talked with Man of Steel director Zack Snyder about his next installment in the DC franchise, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. One of the topics discussed was how Clark Kent/Superman would fit into this next film and what we can expect.
Man of Steel was all about Superman finding his place in the world as both a hero and as a man, ultimately saving the city of Metropolis from certain doom. Dawn of Justice continues to immerse him on Earth by working at the Daily Planet as Clark Kent along with Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). But it also takes him to new environments such as Gotham City and introduces larger threats, including Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg).
Along with the interview, USA Today posted this recent photo of Henry Cavill as Superman with what appears to be Gotham City behind him (Batman’s hometown)
The outfit looks pretty identical to the last film but my god has Henry Cavill put on a ton of muscle since 2013. If you think otherwise, look again…

I have been following this production closely ever since they announced it at Comic Con 2013 and this photo just gets me even more excited about the project.
