Name and Twitter handle: Anneliese Herbosa (@HERbosa)

Occupation (optional): Full-time university student

A notable moment on Twitter? When my all-time favourite Disney celebrity crush tweeted me on my birthday (not that the fangirl inside of me had compelled me to tweet him desperately asking him to do so, or anything…)

Your best Tweet: “I wonder if anyone taught the Queen how to dougie on the dance floor during the reception… #justwondering #RoyalWedding” (April 29/11). I also enjoy live-tweeting while a tv episode is airing, or during award shows.

What did you want to be growing up? A couple of things actually, including: a carpenter, policewoman, photographer, dentist, optometrist, pediatrician… Not all at once, of course.

If you could have dinner with 1 person (live or dead) who would it be? John Lennon. He was a man of much hope, passion, and integrity. In addition to being such a talented artist, he seemed to have been such a lovely person. If given the chance, I would love to have a chat with him over sushi sometime!
Your claim to fame: Eight years of ballet under my belt, followed by five years (or so) of drumming experience. Pretty rad transition, I know. I’ve also been cavity free all my life, for what it’s worth!

Do you know of a hidden gem in our city? I wouldn’t consider it to be hidden, but I visited David Lam Park for the first time over the summer. I was with a group of friends, and we decided to go there (via seabus from Granville Island) on a whim. It’s a pretty neat place to take a stroll, bike, walk your dog, or just hang out.

If you were a superhero, who would you be and why? The one and only: friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man! He’s always trying to do the right thing and his selfless nature is truly admirable. Plus, it’d probably help get rid of my arachnophobia…
If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why? Spinach. Because it was the source of strength and power for Popeye (the sailorman) and I used to love that cartoon as a child.
Recommend a fellow Twitterer that deserves some recognition? @rawrzuhlind — for being all-around awesome, online AND offline 🙂 If you’re into hockey, soccer, or just looking for someone to talk to, she’s your girl!

Describe yourself in 3 words: cheesy, friendly, sincere
