Nerds, geeks, whatever you want to call fans of comics, gaming etc…, you will be happy to know that Fan Expo is finally coming to Vancouver! Fan Expo Vancouver will unite all fans of comics, gaming, anime, horror, and sci-fi and organizers are dubbing this as Comicon Hollywood North and why not, this is one of the biggest expo’s to hit Vancouver. Sprawling over 100,000 square feet, the expo will showcase hundreds of exhibits and specialty retailers in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Tickets go on sale February 21st!Before we get into further details here is some trivia for you. Did you know that the in the original Batman film, a map of Vancouver was used to represent Gotham? I did and here is the proof.
Now back to the expo. Fans of all ages are invited to come out and meet your favourite celebrities and comic book creators and shop for comic books, graphic novels, manga, toys, t-shirts and much, much more. On top of that you get to meet the original Batman & Robin Adam West & Burt Ward. There will be a lot of special guests including: Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Colleen Clinkenbeard (Fullmetal Alchemist), Veronica Taylor (Pokemon), Richard Cox (Inu Yasha) Trevor Deval (Mobile Suit Gundam), Mike McFarland (Dragonball Z), Brian Froud (Bakugan & Jimmy Two Shoes), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kristen Bauer (True Blood)…and more to be released soon!
