A new 35-storey high rise in Surrey has brought advanced technology to the process of home buying. WestStone Group’s Evolve sales centre is giving home buyers the chance to use a multi-dimensional viewing experience of new buildings and floor plan layouts.

“In-Real Dimension” is revolutionary technology that gives shoppers the ability to take a virtual 3-D tour of the suites for sale.

Using a combination of haptic gaming technology and geotagging to create computer-generated imagery and interactive 3D renderings, visitors can hold and manipulate ‘virtual’ models of the high rise and suites, and walk around inside a virtual home using an app on an Apple or Android device.

The centre also features conventional sales tools like three real-size display suites and a scale model, except the experience has been enhanced with supplied iPads. When holding the tablets in front of the model, it comes to life, augmented with price points, suite descriptions and airplanes flying about.

Thanks to this enhanced interactive-experience, pre-sale home shoppers interested in the 406-suite high rise are immersed in their new home environment.

What’s incredible is that via the app, home buyers can have this experience from the comfort of their own home. With the augmented reality technology, buyers can hold 3D floor plans in their hands, manipulate the image and then go inside and walk around the suite similar to virtual reality.

Bill Morrison, President of Platinum Project Marketing elaborates: “With the free app, people can take our brochures and do this all at home and use our advertising to see additional images, offerings, video and pricing. It’s an incredible way to shop for pre-sale real estate.”

With affordable homes near transit and retail in high demand, Evolve’s concrete tower homes answer the market’s need for contemporary consumers. Those consumers are exactly suited to the revolutionary technology Evolve has for home shoppers.

Evolve is the second of six towers to be built in the West Village by WestStone Group and part of the largest piece of connected development land in Surrey. There will be 2,800 homes built here over the next seven years.

West Village will offer 100,000 square feet of commercial, 50,000 square feet of office, 50,000 square feet of retail as well as 10,000 square feet of common properties.

“Surrey is changing quickly and we wanted to design a new kind of product for the new kind of buyer, offering concrete tower homes for less than the price of wood frame with pricing from $93,900, meant we needed to be present this product in a new and exciting way,” explains Brian Regehr, President and CEO of WestStone Group.

Located in the heart of the Central City, Evolve has over 300 homes priced below the $250,000 mark – making this building the most attractively priced new concrete high rise in British Columbia.
