Chicken Golf

A golf tournament like no other.
This event is about making a difference in the community, supporting Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, networking and business development. Where people come together to enjoy a fun day on a golf course. Where every teebox is an expo booth. Where local farmers and producers showcase their products, local chefs serve delicious bits and bites, local breweries and wineries offer tastes. Products like Kealy’s Diamond Vodka, an award-winning vodka made right here in the Valley (Abbotsford). Slavic Rolls supporting the event with hand made European desserts, a baked on site pastry, filled with the fresh and delightful local fruit fillings, house make Bavarian Cream, and the producers favourite - lemon!
This tournament and tradeshow has 18 holes of challenging golf, made easier played in a scramble format, where the score doesn’t really matter because the comraderie is the main event, and the views from the top holes, high in the hills, give one pause in our hectic lives. Reminding us that the day is a break from our every day routines and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice benefits. Because all funds raised from the tournament and tradeshow are applied to food costs at Canuck Place.
The day opens with a great brunch to get the tournament started. Fresh local eggs, local sausages and bacon, hand made pastries, deep rich coffee and aromatic teas. Smoothies and parfaits. A Fraser Valley brunch, sustenance to get you to the next food station. Which will only be 30 minutes out - and could feature grilled sausages or pulled chicken sliders, a local brewery or a delightful wine.
Included in the registration fees: 18 holes of golf, shared power carts, brunch, on course food and beverage samples, contests such as long drive, closest to the pin, and chip into the egg basket, reception, dinner, plus access to the online and live auction.
The online auction is an excellent opportunity for marketing your products. Donate a product, where 100% of the funds raised are donated to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. The auction format introduces the donor to the high bidder - a great networking and business development opportunity, where the donor actually knows who the new client is. Check it out at
