Cosmic Night: OSIRIS-REx

Join us for Cosmic Nights: OSIRIS-REx as we delve into asteroids, comets and other solar system wanderers!

OSIRIS-REx is a mapping and sample return mission to the asteroid Bennu. After a two year journey the OSIRIS-REx probe is scheduled to arrive at Bennu on August 17th . The probe will map the asteroid and collect a sample before returning to Earth.

Learn about the OSIRIS-REx mission first-hand from planetary geophysicist Dr. Catherine Johnson. She will be joining us to discuss her work on the mission and mapping asteroid Bennu.

Cosmic Nights is a themed party featuring a custom planetarium show, music, drinks, science demonstrations, games, and a special guest lecturer. Experience the Space Centre after hours in a 19+ environment!
