Shaun Rawlins with special guests Tobacco Brown, Tyler Bartfai and Austin Parise

Shaun Rawlins is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Vancouver, BC. He writes songs about life; from the little gaps and spaces that exist in all of our lives, to love and everything in-between. Shaun finished recording his debut EP entitled "Lost in Your Head" working with producer John Webster. The EP was released at a sold out show at the Media Club with special guests Tobacco Brown and Jess Smith on May 27th, 2016. He recently finished recording the follow up "Clean Slate", which is available now.

Tobacco Brown (Vancouver) //

Tobacco Brown is the solo project of Vancouver based singer/songwriter, Kevan Schell. Tobacco Brown can be described as Surf, Blues, Swing, Gypsy Jazz & Rock mixed together (using a loop pedal & guitar) to create a bold, unique and diverse sound.

Tyler Bartfai & The Stowaways (Vancouver) //

Tyler Bartfai is a guitar and vocal driven singer-songwriter from Powell River, B.C. With influences from JJ Cale, Jason Mraz, Eric Clapton, and John Mayer, Tyler writes accross a variety of genres. These include folk, blues, pop, and roots.

Having gained a strong local following, Tyler ventured out in the fall of 2017 for a successful B.C. and Alberta tour with fellow singer songwriters Shaun Rawlins and Austin Parise (who is also a member of the Stowaways). The Fade to Fall Tour kicked off at the Sunshine Music fest and made many stops along the way at venues like The Blind Beggar, The Grateful Fed, and the Royal.

In April Tyler Bartfai & The Stowaways recorded a live off the floor session including 4 originals. The Audio can be streamed here Tyler is starting into a studio project currently and hopes to have it released early in spring 2018.

Austin Parise Music (Vancouver) //

Austin Parise is a singer/songwriter who hails from the small mill town of Powell River B.C. He is a founding member of the Pop-Punk band Potential Union, in which he produced two EPs with fellow band members Cody Jackson and Dalton Pagani. Parise also worked with Ben Wittrock in his "Pure, honest, punk rock" project Razorvoice for many years.

Currently, Austin plays bass for Tyler Bartfai as a member of his accompanying band “The Stowaways”. In addition, Austin is now working on his debut solo album with friend and other local artist Jasper Sassaman. The project aims to capture the energy of a punk act, while remaining earnest and accessible.
