The 3145 West Broadway spot, known for its reasonably-priced food and drinks, late-night hours, and lively music, completed their last night of operation at their OG location on July 22.
In an Instagram post, the venue cited building development as their reason for closing at their current spot.
“Well folks, the day has come. We don’t wanna go but the demo trucks are knocking!”
Good news though, Elwood fans, the establishment is moving to a not-so-far location two blocks away, “Never down and out we will be moving a couple blocks away,” read the Instagram post.
Phew. Always nice to see a comeback story when it comes to quality spots in this city.
Daily Hive has reached out to Elwoods regarding the exact location and tentative opening date. We’ll keep you posted.
