The only thing better than weekend is brunch any day of the week, amirite?

Granville Island’s Edible Canada restaurant is really onto something with their recent launch of an every day brunch menu, which puts a set of tasty morning eats at the top of the menu, and available for order from open to 4 pm daily.

With an ever-thoughtful eye on showcasing all the fantastic local, regional, and national ingredients at our disposal in Canada, the new weekday brunch at Edible reflects country’s multiculturalism as well as offers some signature brunch eats.

Kick off your day with their fruit and yogurt bowl, with housemade granola, seasonal fresh fruit, and a tangy, light-as-air yogurt espuma with a touch of buckwheat honey for that one extra sweet note.

Meat lovers will want to turn their attention to the Lamb Meatballs, which are tender and hearty, and bring a little taste of Mexico to Vancouver, thanks to the fresh cilantro and the toasted tortillas you’ll want to fold up bites of sunny side up egg, the meatballs, and the vibrant tomato sauce.

But vegetarians will find a feast of options at Edible during the day; they’ve got and Avocado Benny (which comes with their to-die-for smashed potatoes), or the playfully-worded Breakfast of Champignons, which focuses on (remember your French class) all things mushroom.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, head right for Edible Canada’s scrumptious French Toast, which is made with challah, and is served with apple, tangy rhubarb, and a bit of marscapone for a little bit more bite.

Naturally you’ll want some libations for your brunch, and Edible Canada not only rocks an excellent Caesar, but they’re now doing Mimosa flights for the truly indecisive (or smart…variety is the spice of life, after all). Try a bit of bubbly with grapefruit and tarragon, or sip on a classic OJ version.

What Edible Canada doesn’t shout from the rooftops is that much of their eclectic menu is designed to be gluten-free, which means if you are looking for a brunch–weekday or otherwise–that can accommodate special dietary needs, they are an excellent option.

Edible Canada offers their brunch menu weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm and weekends and holidays from 9 am to 4 pm.
