This upcoming June 10-12, the 9th annual EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival will once again bestow Vancouverites with a shower of all senses: culinary samples, presentations, celebrity chefs, and food & drink vendors from over 250 exhibitors. This festival is a great way to look for gifts for the upcoming Father’s Day, or just revel in the samples from some of our own local restaurants, and international chefs.
On the Food Network Celebrity Stage, EAT! welcomes our own Rob Feenie, Graham Kerr, Author and TV personality formerly known as the Galloping Gourmet, and Top Chef Canada contestants Dale MacKay of the new ensemble Restaurant, and Connie DeSousa of
CHARCUT Roast House with her business partner, John Jackson.
EAT! also welcomes globally-renowned chefs to the International Culinary Stage and the World Culinary Travel Expo, where tourist boards offer travel options for sightseeing foodies.
The Bite of Vancouver Pavilion features 14 local restaurants offering favourite dishes at no more than $4 each, and health-conscious consumers can check out exhibitors and presenters on the new Fit to EAT! Stage and pavilion, hosted by Gardenworks and Spectrum Naturals.
PS: If Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals happens, it will be broadcasted live from big screens at EAT!. You can have your meal and beer in hand as we cheer GO CANUCKS GO!
