Dolphin Basketball Classic returns to Richmond July 15-17

The annual Dolphin Basketball Classic returns to again this summer, July 15-17 in Richmond.

The event, now in its 31st year, is Canada’s longest running outdoor summer basketball event.

Location: South Arm Community Centre, 8880 Williams Road, Richmond BC

Admission: free

The 4-on-4 full-court tournament has a new location this year, at the South Arm Community Centre, just minutes away from the original home of the tournament at Dolphin Park.

This tournament routinely attracts talented players from university and college teams, as well as former professional players from leagues in Europe and Asia. There’s a men’s division, women’s division, and a youth tournament for elementary school children.

The last day of the tournament will feature a slam dunk and three-point competition, with cash prizes to be won.

Admission to the tournament is free, and it is a fan-friendly event with a beer garden and food vendors on-site.
