“Awww, he thinks he’s people!” On Sunday, a furry player stole a glove during a softball game between Simon Fraser University and Western Oregon University in Oregon.

The pit bull terrier ran onto the field of play through an open gate. Those on the field made attempts to drive the dog off the field, but it had other plans and stole not one but two gloves from the hands of the players.

The crowd and players laughed as it ran around the infield and outfield with the gloves. The viral video has accumulated nearly 360,000 hits since it was first uploaded. It has also been shown on ESPN and CNN.

All the dog wanted to do was play, and all he needed was a glove… or two.
