Dinner by Design is back this September, bringing together world renowned designers and Vancouver talent to create three-dimensional, delectable dining installations.
For the first time, the lavish design event will take place at the Harbour Centre, on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 16.
Diners will be surrounded by extraordinary dining environments — from the romantic to the whimsical — and for the first time in decades, the centre’s upstairs portion will be open.
From visual mapping on freshly laid marble tile, to the deconstruction of disco balls from the 1980’s – the centre will be turned completely upside down.
The Cocktail Art session on Thursday is sure to be a highlight, featuring more mixologists than ever before, as guests take in innovative table designs and installations.
And for the first time, cocktail drinkers will also get gourmet treats created by local leading chefs, like La Pentola’s Travis McCord.
The cocktail cruising and tablehopping will be followed on Friday by a VIP Gala Dinner, featuring multiple courses paired with wine, accompanied by live music.
Cocktail tickets are $75 and include a complimentary welcome drink, canapés by six of Vancouver’s finest chefs, and live entertainment.
Dinner tickets are $300 and include all drinks, from specialty cocktails or beers at the open bar, to the dining wine pairings. Live entertainment will also be on offer.
If you’d simply like to explore the tablescapes with cocktails or dinner, there will be a free public viewing session on Friday, September 16.
