Deep Cove Daze, one of North Vancouver’s most popular summertime events, is returning to Panorama Park this weekend on Sunday, August 26.
In addition to the beautiful views, Quarry Rock, and the North Shore’s very own Honey’s Doughnuts, the Cove will be bustling with food trucks, beer gardens hosted by Deep Cover Brewers & Distillers, a pie-eating contest, and an artisan alley.
Other highlights of the festival will include a miniature fair with midway games and rides for children, and a cardboard kayak race by the water.
Throughout the day, live music will be playing from a waterfront mainstage, an amphitheatre side stage, and a children’s stage.
In addition to the events being held at the festival, visitors can also pass by some of the Cove’s most popular shops and cafes: Cafe Orso, Bluehouse Market & Cafe, Lala’s, and A’hoy, to name a few.
For those who are unable to find parking in the Cove, overflow parking can be found at Myrtle Park, Seycove Secondary School, and Cove Cliff Elementary School and is just a few minutes away from the water.
Transit also runs through Deep Cove through the entire day, with buses leaving for Phibbs Exchange regularly.
Deep Cove Daze runs from 12 to 7 pm; admission is by donation.
