One of DC’s biggest upcoming films is rumoured to see filming in Canada.

Sources say that Warner Bros and DC Films’ Flashpoint could be taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, according to Omega Underground.

While it’s been some time that a DC film has been shot in Vancouver, there’s a history of movies and shows that have taken place on the West Coast: Watchmen, Man of Steel, and the Flash TV series, to name a few.

Flashpoint is built off the comic book released in 2011. It explores Barry Allen (AKA the Flash) when he attempts to travel back in time and prevent his mother’s murder. Upon travelling back in time, he creates an alternate timeline where he’s no longer the Flash, as well as changing many of the most recognizable heroes in the DC Universe.

The film looks to star a mix of new and familiar faces, including Ezra Miller (Barry Allen), Kiersey Clemons (Iris West), Billy Crudup (Henry Allen), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), and the possibility of Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman).
