Camera footage shows Metro Vancouver's worst drivers in accidents (VIDEOS)

DH Vancouver Staff Mar 26, 2014 10:46 am

Dashboard cams (or dashcams) have made their way from Russia into the hands on everyday North American consumers to provide immediate visual proof at the time of an accident.

A YouTube user named xSupaD has compiled car crash videos filmed around Metro Vancouver, showing a combination of rear-enders, head-on collisions, t-bones, and sideswipes. In some cases, drivers even drove into stores and took down lampposts while others simply backed up into another vehicle without doing proper checks before making the movement.

Nevertheless, it is a frightening reality of just how dangerous some drivers are when they are on the road (or even in parking lots) and behind the wheel. Some of the clips, which were mostly from dashboard cameras, are truly horrific.
