This local mountain is officially open for ski and board season

Ski and board season has officially arrived at Cypress Mountain.

The West Vancouver mountain welcomed visitors to the slopes Monday morning.

Currently, the only run open is the Easy Rider.

But as temperatures are forecasted to dip, winter enthusiasts can expect for more terrain to open within the next several days.

Cypress Mountain says Easy Rider will be open from 10 am to 3:30 pm daily. Be sure to check their website for more updates on runs, hours, and conditions.

The North Shore mountains typically open to the public for skiing and riding in early-December, meaning Grouse and Seymour should be announcing their open days soon.
