After a sting on a “suspicious vehicle” earlier this year that turned up numerous pieces of stolen property, police are now looking to find the rightful owners of the goods – in particular, wedding photos and memorabilia.

On April 29, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1800 block of 160th Street.

Upon their arrival, police found the vehicle along with numerous pieces of lost or stolen property.

One of the items located was a DSLR camera with a SD card containing photos of a young couple’s wedding.

Are you – or do you recognize – the people in this photo? (Surrey RCMP)

Officers have attempted to return the items to their rightful owners, however, they have not had any luck in finding the owner of the camera, and are now reaching out the public for help.

“If you recognize anyone in these photos, please call police so we can reunite the owner with their camera and photos of this special day,” said RCMP S/Sgt. Dale Carr.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or  leave a tip online at solvecrime.ca.
