Police investigating reports of shots fired in South Vancouver

Vancouver Police are currently on scene and canvassing the area around Main Street and East 50th Avenue after they received reports of shots being fired Friday afternoon.

The reports came in just after 2:30 pm, and so far there are no reports of any injuries.

While the investigation is still in the very early stages and few details are available, police said from what they can tell so far, the incident appears to be targeted.

In a release, the VPD said officers will remain in the area.
