Coquitlam RCMP searching for missing 16-year-old boy

Update: Coquitlam RCMP say Bhandal has been located safely.

Coquitlam RCMP are asking the public to help locate Ranjot Bhandal, a 16-year-old male who has been missing since April 17.

According to police, Bhandal was last seen around midnight on Tuesday, April 17, in the 1100 block of Lansdowne Drive, Coquitlam.

Bhandal is described as:

  • A slim South Asian male
  • Long, black hair usually worn in a turban but possibly under a black toque
  • About 5’8″ (173 cm) and 140 lbs (64 kg)
  • Possibly wearing grey track pants, a long-sleeved black shirt, a black jacket, and a black toque
