Some relief is on the way for residents in British Columbia’s South Coast who are experiencing issues with the heat, particularly individuals who are struggling with their sleep.

According to Environment Canada, beginning on Tuesday, temperatures in Metro Vancouver will dip to the low 20s during the daytime and reach a nightly low of the mid teens.

The forecast calls for mainly sunny periods throughout the week, with some periods of cloud cover. There is currently a chance of much-needed rain this weekend.

For the Sea-to-Sky Corridor stretching from Squamish to Pemberton, some showers are expected on Tuesday.
