SpinaliS chairs for healthy and active sitting without back pain are finally in Canada, with the first branch store in Vancouver! With a movable seat on a spring, SpinaliS is the healthiest way to sit all-day long, keeping your posture straight and back pain-free. Find them in their Kitsilano showroom or online and start changing the way, how you feel at work.

Expedia’s Vancouver headquarters brings new meaning to the words “flagship office.”

Designed from scratch by Gensler, the office that overlooks the Burrard Inlet infuses a nautical theme into its open concept layout. Drawing inspiration from the company’s travelling initiatives, each wall, room, and piece of furniture makes you feel like you’re boarding a cruise ship.

Company: Expedia
Employees: Roughly 150
Designer: Gensler
Size: 28,497 square feet, 2 floors
Location: 1066 West Hastings Street

There’s so much room in this two floor office that you might feel inclined to walk around and socialize with coworkers – a fun task given the bright colours that offer inspiration for ongoing projects.

For those who’d like to feel as though they’re embarking on an adventure every day, they’ll get exactly that if they work at Expedia’s Vancouver headquarters. The staff works hard, but doing so amongst the lively design is just another reminder that beyond their work, there’s always another vacation just around the corner.
