A staple of the Western Canadian music scene is set to return to BC Place for a sixth consecutive year this December.
Taking place on the 26 and 27, Contact – Western Canada’s largest winter music festival – has announced its full line-up of 15 internationally acclaimed artists, headlined by EDM superstar Marshmello, and DJ greats Armin Van Buuren.
“I’m particularly proud of this year’s line-up which showcases all-time greats coupled with new and emerging acts,” said Alvaro Prol, Blueprint Co-Founder and Talent Buyer for the festival. “Our goal was to ensure this event had something for all of our fans as well as festival-goers who’ve heard about Contact.”
After a number of consecutive sell-outs, the 2017 event will include an expansive VIP experience and venue footprint to host 34,000 attendees.
“Since its inception in 2012, we have strived to make CONTACT one of the most anticipated festivals of the year,” said Ryan Balaski of Live Nation Canada. “It’s been exciting to watch this grow into the destination event of the winter.”
