Trick-or-treating and Halloween fun is happening at the City Square Shopping Centre

Oct 18 2016, 5:36 am

There are some warm indoor places that offer tremendous Halloween adventures – like City Square Shopping Centre’s Halloween Hunt.

This event, taking place on October 29, has everything. You can do your trick-or-treating by visiting the retailers in the mall while enjoying mad science shows, slime making, face painting, and professional family portraits.

Kids can pick up maps at the food court at noon to complete a Halloween hunt throughout the mall. Those who complete their maps and return them by 2:30 pm will have a chance to win an Xbox One and a Hallo collection bundle with a Minecraft game. The runners up will get some great prizes too.

At the cupcake decorating station, kids have a chance to win a signed hockey stick by Daniel Sedin. Cupcakes can be taken home and are purchased by donation, with all proceeds going to the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

The best thing about this event? It’s free and fun for all ages. Head over to City Square Shopping Centre with your niece, nephew, cousin, or kid and enjoy a bit of Halloween indoors. Everyone is welcome to come dressed in costume.

Stay in the loop for other fun events by following the shopping centre on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
