More than 50 Christmas trees stolen from garden centre in Surrey

The Grinch who stole Christmas apparently lives in Surrey.

Or at least that seems to be the case, after Hunters Garden Centre and Flower Shop in Surrey was ransacked overnight and thieves stole more than 50 Christmas trees from the Newton neighbourhood business.

Staff at Hunters arrived at the business Wednesday to find the trees missing, which they say are six-foot and seven-foot Noble Firs.

In a Facebook post, Hunters told people in Surrey to be on the lookout for anyone selling “good quality Noble fir trees” for “really cheap” and to let the business know if, when and where they see just that.

The business is located at 15175 72nd Avenue.

More to come…
