Chowmenow announced today the launch of its new community website:www.chowmenow.com. The new website is targeted to assist Vancouverites in finding$5 lunch meals. Through the site, users are able to find lunch deals based on their location, while also gaining access to restaurant reviews, ratings, and pictures uploaded by other users.

“There are lots of sites dedicated to finding restaurants, but there isn’t one on a mission to find a good lunch for only 5 dollars. A lot of people think that you need to spend a ton of money to get a good meal, but a lot of the time five dollars is more than enough. We are all very excited to share the cheap eats love.”–CEO Aden Klein.

The new website is aimed to cater to four distinctive demographics; workers, students, tourists, and seniors. Chowmenow will serve as a restaurant guide for finding lunches five dollars or under based on user demographics and interests. Users will be able to rate and review restaurants, as well as create public profiles for themselves. While the main focus is on restaurant information—the social networking element will allow users to connect and interact with each other, creating a future online community.
