An Abbotsford man is being charged with five counts related to sexual assault after child porn was discovered on a computer he sold online.

The new owner found disturbing images on a laptop they had purchased from 52-year-old Jonathan Grunwald and contacted the Abbotsford Police Department. The computer contained graphic images of child sexual abuse.

Now Grunwald is being charged with sexual assault (of a person under 16 year of age), sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, making child pornography and possession of child pornography.

One of the victims was found by police and support has been set up for them and their family. In the meantime, the investigation by the APD is ongoing.

If you have any information about this case, you’re asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225, via text at 222973 (abbypd) or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
