Vancouver's highly-anticipated Chicken Nugget Festival has been postponed
There are only few things that can actually make Mondays worse than they already are, and the news of Vancouver’s Chicken Nugget Festival being postponed is definitely one of them.
Yes, it’s a sad day for chicken nugget lovers as the organizers of the highly-anticipated celebration set to go down in Burnaby’s Central Park on Saturday, November 11 has been put on pause.
The Facebook event for the gathering was updated this past weekend:
Update: Due to an update with City of Burnaby and regulations, fees are over the expectations and will not be funded in time for the event. This event is being forced to postpone until further notice. I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused. Next time it will be better and more organized.
On the bright side, if you planned ahead you’ll have a stock pile of chicken nuggets to dry your tears with – so that’s a plus.
