Visit a free cherry blossom light show in Vancouver this weekend
Cherry blossoms are already a beautiful sight during springtime in Vancouver, but add hundreds of colourful lights, and you get a truly magical after-dark show.
Such will be the case this weekend, as Spring Lights come to Queen Elizabeth Park, as part of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival.
Presented by Hfour, the light show takes place on Saturday, April 14, from dusk until 10 pm, and is completely free for anyone to attend.
This is the fifth year that Hfour has been projecting on cherry blossoms in Vancouver during an event described as “the first of its kind in the world,” by organizers.

This year’s Spring Lights will feature light art installations by Hfour, Ari Laser, Tim Rolls, Leó Stefánsson, and Samm Z Cooper.
There will also be dance performances choreographed by Heather Laura Gray, a musical soundscape by Adham Shaikh, the Tacofino food truck, and much more.
Don’t forget your camera, as there will no doubt be more than a few fantastic photo opportunities.
