You can fly from Vancouver to Scotland for $459 return

If you have your sights on a trip to Scotland, now might be the perfect time to put those plans into action.

According to the airfare gurus over at YVR Deals, WestJet is offering flights from Vancouver to Glasgow for $459 return.

The deal applies to select flights this October, and the journey has two stops each way.

While the flight is a good deal, booking it involves a couple of extra small, but important steps:

1. Google Flights: Vancouver to Glasgow, Scotland, then click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations and look for the dates that are $772 CAD roundtrip or less.
2. Go to the Momondo UK website and search for a flight from Vancouver (YVR) to Glasgow, Scotland (GLA), using the same dates you found on Google Flights
3. On the Momondo UK website, the price will be significantly cheaper and show up as between 192 and 245 British Pounds roundtrip, which works out to between $340 and $434 CAD roundtrip when booked with a Canadian credit card.

• Oct 12, 14 to Oct 26 — 259 GBP / $459 CAD
• Oct 16 to Oct 24 — 270 GBP / $478 CAD
• Oct 16, 18, 19 to Oct 26 — 268 GBP / $475 CAD
