You can fly from Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta for under $300 return this winter

While Vancouver weather may be all fine and dandy at the present moment, it’s no secret that come fall, the city will quickly return to its regularly scheduled programming – AKA, the return of Raincouver.

If last winter was any indication, the city is in for a chaotic mix of rain, snow, and painfully low temperatures (for Vancouver standards, at least).

So if flying south at the first sight of rain is your plan of action, we’ve got you covered.

Several airlines have reduced the prices of flights from Vancouver to Peurto Vallarta. You can now fly roundtrip for as low as $296, with the average price of the sale clocking in around $340.

Some flights will have up to two stops on either the departing or returning flight.

To put the prices into perspective, flights to Puerto Vallarta can often cost anywhere north of $500, sometimes as high as $800.

The deal is available from September to December of 2018, with the cheapest flights ($296) being in December.

Here’s how to book the deal: 

1. Visit Google Flights.

2. Enter Puerto Vallarta (PVR) as your destination.

3. Upon choosing dates, scroll the calendar to anywhere from September to December of 2018.

Note: Prices and selection can easily change based on your departure date, be sure to experiment with different dates.

The average flight price in September and October is $340, December has a number of flights available starting at $296.
