You can fly from Vancouver to New York for $386 this winter
If you’ve been craving a trip to Gotham City, then now’s a great time to pack your bags and book some time off.
United Airlines and Air Canada have reduced the prices of their winter flights and as a result, you can now fly from Vancouver to New York City for as low as $386.
Trips can be booked from late November to early March and include flights to both Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA). Flights around this time of year can normally cost anywhere from $700 to $900.
The cheapest options can be found by booking your departure flight with Air Canada and your return flight with United Airlines. Most flights will include a one to two-hour stop both ways.
Travellers also have the option of flying non-stop with Air Canada for $15 to $20 more.
Here’s how to book the deal:
1. Visit the Google Flights website.
2. Enter your departure and return destinations as Vancouver (YVR) and New York (LGA or EWR), respectively.
3. Use the calendar view and pick any selection of dates.
