You can fly from Vancouver to Honolulu, Hawaii for $400 this winter

Does current Vancouver weather have you dreading the cold and grey winter to come?

If you’d happily trade the cold and rainy climate for some sun, sand, and surfing, then you’re in luck.

Several airlines have dropped the prices of their flights from Vancouver (YVR) to Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL). Flights from Air Canada and WestJet are available from late November to early March, including a number of flights during the holiday season.

Thanks to FlyTrippers, you can now fly roundtrip for as low as $400. Normally, flights can cost anywhere north of $600, sometimes reaching as high as $800 or more during peak times.

Here’s how to book the deal:

1. Visit the Skyscanner website.

2. Enter your departure and return destination as Vancouver (YVR) and Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL), respectively.

3. Upon choosing your dates, change the calendar toggle to “Whole Month” and select “Cheapest Month.”

4. The next screen will open up a calendar view with individual dates. From there, select any arrangement of dates – the cheapest flights will range from $401 to $430.
