Cento Notti closed to make way for new pop-up restaurant

By DH Vancouver Staff, DH Vancouver Staff, DH Vancouver Staff Aug 14, 2012 9:50 am

Cento Notti, the wildly popular Yaletown Italian restaurant located inside the Opus Hotel has closed its doors for good. This past Sunday, August 12th, 2012 was there last day. In its place a new pop-up restaurant will take over.

The following is from the Opus Hotel blog:

I guess when you win 2011 Van Mag awards for “Best New Restaurant”, along with “Best Italian Casual” and then “Best Informal Restaurant,” you naturally gain the admiration and interest of the restaurant community. The chef-owners behind La Quercia in Kitsilano did just that  by creating an impeccable  and renowned food and wine program, and people are happily waiting weeks to get in the door.

We are pleased to  announce  that we are bringing our pop-up concept to a close and proudly partnering with the chef-owners at La Quercia to deliver a new restaurant at OPUS Vancouver in early September.  (Name to be announced)

Foodsters around town are already talking up this new and exciting partnership.  Reminiscent of duos “meant to be”:  Sonny and Cher… Batman and Robin, the future holds promise of great things to come.

This means good bye to our existing pop-up restaurant, Cento Notti; with its official last day of operation being August 12th.  Start dreaming of succulent pasta dishes with impeccable wine pairings…in a fresh new space.

Keep an eye on the blog- more to come…

The new concept will be Italian and is in partnership with chef/owners of La Quercia. Not much more is known at the moment.
